Stretching
On the left are some of the most useful examples of stretching that you can perform at home. You should be stretching at home at least twice a week to improve your flexibility, this will be of great help when you are performing TaeKwonDo techniques.
Always make sure that you are warm enough before stretching, the best time to stretch is after you have done a warm-up, gone through your patterns and practised your kicks.
We practise progressive stretching which aims to improve your flexibility over time, not pushing you too far too fast, but enough to enhancee flexibility if you stretch regularly. |
