The Grading
The next grading will be held on Sunday 26th April, this will give everyone the opportunity to train on Sunday after the Easter holidays – please remember, if you’ve graded before, revise everything that you have done to date and know all your theory including the Oath. The grading costs £18 payable on the day, and you must bring your licences with you to be able to grade. Please listen out for announcement in class with regards to if you are grading. Mock gradings are being held in the run up to the grading to determine who will be taking part.
IAOMAS Seminar
There will be an IAOMAS Seminar on the 24th May, 2009 at Rayners Lane Taekwon-do Academy, The Beacon Centre, Scott Crescent, South Harrow, Middlesex, HA2 0TY. The journey to Rayners Lane Academy takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes on the train.
Last year’s seminar included instructors from Karate, Hapkido, TaeKwonDo, Tai Chi and Wing Chun Kung Fu. The seminar will run from 11am until 4pm with approximately 8 instructors on half hour slots and a short break for lunch half way through.
Costs will be:
- £15 in advance
- £20 on the day
This is a great way for students to train with different instructors, try out different martial arts and meet fellow martial artists. If you are interested in taking part, please bring back the attached form and cheque ASAP so that we can arrange transport and meeting times.
