Mr Walker has a wide experience of training in Martial Arts which has spanned over 23 years. Initially Mr Walker started training at 15 with Mr Brian Williams 6th Dan Black Belt of the TaeKwonDo Association of Great Britain (TAGB) at the North West Clubs. There he achieved the grade of 7th Kup before joining the British Army. He continued his training at various clubs around the UK gaining excellent experience of different associations and clubs. He continued to grade with the TAGB until the grade of 1st Kup, during this time he graded with Dorian Bytom at his academy, and was graded by such examiners as Ron Sergiew and Kenny Walton when he returned to grade at the North West TAGB clubs. Mr Walker achieved his 1st Dan Black Belt with North West TaeKwonDo, Mr Brian Williams' new association. After this time Mr Walker started instructing and continued to grade and achieved his 4th Dan Black Belt with Mr Williams.
Mr Walker was posted to Germany during his time in the British Army where he trained with a WTF club learning the different kicking techniques which the WTF utilise. Therefore improving his overall knowledge of TaeKwonDo. Mr Walker also visited Canada during his time in the Army and again trained with a local ITF style club.

In the forming of the Army Martial Arts Association, Mr Walker was selected for the British Army TaeKwonDo Team, and was present in the team until he left HM Forces. During that time Mr Walker was British Army TaeKwonDo Patterns and Sparring Champion several times. Also, during that time Mr Walker contributed to the Army becoming Inter Service Champions on more than one occasion. |
Mr Walker has also competed at local and national competitions, winning trophies at both levels. From the age of 15 winning third place at the TAGB British Championships, until recently winning Sparring and Patterns at local competitions. Mr Walker started instructing in Dartford after leaving HM Forces in 2002. His clubs offer a traditional level of training with modern fitness techniques incorporated. Mr Walker believes in a high level of skill in partnership with a high level of personal discipline which promotes and develops good TaeKwonDo students.
